The Block-out

 For this project i decided the best course of action to try keep me on track is to create an enviroment that i can put the effects into, and since the inital effects will be inpired by the Game of Thrones series and books (ASOIAF) the ideal setting will be a castle or a keep.

Looking at examples of this i found a good top down view of castle black from the series that i could do a basic recreation of that would allow me to have the right surrounding but also for weather effects try make it feel like the atsmophere i want.

With the image in place i crreated a basic block out of the bouildings, mainly focusing on the outer wall so i can have the showcase in a sectioned off area that with a wall behind are less likley to clash with the background sky.

I plan to add more details towards the end of the prject to allow me to put effects and objects to help showcase my effects with how they were intended to be used.
