A New Project

 So with the feedback given from last week I began the process of creating a new Unreal Engine project file and to start with the back bone of the project before moving onto what ill be looking at specifically. The project didn't get of to a great start as the project file crashed pretty soon into making it as I was setting up my usual file set-up with colour coding it crashed causing me to have to recreate it. However once with it finally set-up I began working on doing my research and breaking down visual effects in animated media with a Specific three chosen initially, as one of them was suggested, Akira (1998). The other two were Invincible and Ju Jitsu Kaisen.

For the research I used PureRef to make a sort of mind map and look at individual effects, eventually leading to this: 

Now, I've changed the font not because i like the way it looks, even though i do ;), I've changed it because this was previous section was the last thing i wrote in my note book that I kept track of, so the past few months have been a bit hectic and due to my lack of maturity in keeping a good work schedule I now suffer the consequences of my actions. so from now on, in future blog posts it will be a mix of me remembering what I've done from looking at the work and figuring where it occurred so some things will be out of order, my plan for the new year and semester is to work on this and do the best work possible.

But yeah, back to looking at my research and breakdown

So my breakdowns consisted of mainly looking at the individual effects and looking at what they were getting across and how it was done, along with in some cases how I pictured they created the effect.
